All prescribers who prescribe at Mamedica clinic are registered with the GMC or GPhC, and their credentials are verified before they can practice with us.
The clinic conducts audits of prescriber details and patient records to maintain high standards of safety and regulatory compliance.
When the prescription arrives at the dispensary, the prescription details are checked in accordance with GPhC guidance for processing controlled drug prescriptions.
Dispensing, packaging and delivery
The FP10CD is sent from the clinic to the dispensary after consultation.
The dispensary will confirm your prescription and request payment via email.
Once payment has been made, the pharmacist will arrange dispensing of your medication.
Your prescription is discreetly packaged and dispensed via secure courier.
Compliance
We process prescriptions in line with Human Medicines Regulations 2012 and Misuse of Drugs Regulations 2001 as a schedule 2 controlled medicine.
